Grabbelkaartjes / Grabcards

A more close-up look at some of the 'grabcards' I made for Wilma's adventcalendar. You might have spotted them in the overall photo's Wilma took of her presents each day. In Dutch we know the 'grabbelton', I think it could be translated as 'lucky dip': you pay a small amount of money, stick your hand in a barel or bucket filled with little wrapped presents and wads of newspaperpages or the like, grab one of the presents and hope it's a nice one. Now off course all the presents Wilma got in her 'grabbelton' were nice and there were no wads of newspaper but that's what it was inspired on since she had no idea of what was in there and could be lucky or even luckier that day ;-) Every day that she got one of these cards, she was allowed to 'grab' a present.
I made these in a hurry, I like some better than others.

Nice cards. We have something similar in certain places called a grab bag where you pay $$ and then take a bag and what get is what you get.
