Hi, my name is Thinkie, welcome to my blog!
I'm a student in cultural studies, a museum enthusiast, a scrapbooker and an art journaler. I love to travel within Europe and I enjoy photography. You can read more about me on my homepage.
And in Dutch I enjoy:
I live, I love, I create, I capture, I learn, I enjoy.
Road Trip day 3August 3 was the last day of our road trip. We started with a visit to a Tagebau: a HUGE open pit mine eating the German landscape, and the villiages that are in its way...
3 augustus was de laatste dag van onze road trip. We begonnen met een bezoek aan een Tagebau: een ENORME open mijn die het Duitse landschap opvreet, inclusief de dorpen die in de weg liggen...
Next we wanted to get some breakfast in Jülich. Now we are used to wasps being around in august more than the rest of the year but they were all over this town and on the bread and pastries in the bakery's, gross! we walked around and finally found a bakery inside a mall. Under different circumstances we might have enjoyed the historical features this place had to offer but now we just wanted to leave!
Next stop: Vaalserberg. We had lunch on a terrace with a great view and climbed the Wilhelminatower.
Nearby was the Boudewijntower, which is higher.
We followed a walkingroute on the side of the mountain. There were some places where you could enjoy nature-related activities. Like listening to the forest around you...

Reactie van Annemarie (mommyvictory)Well, I always love your photos. The view of the maze was fantastic. Too bad about the wasps. I would have left also.
