Hi, my name is Thinkie, welcome to my blog!
I'm a student in cultural studies, a museum enthusiast, a scrapbooker and an art journaler. I love to travel within Europe and I enjoy photography. You can read more about me on my homepage.
And in Dutch I enjoy:
I live, I love, I create, I capture, I learn, I enjoy.
This past week... / De afgelopen week...Aafje became ill. She's doing much better now but it took a lot of forced feeding, medicine, two trips to the vet and of course cuddling.
Meanwhile we weren't in our own appartment but in the house of Wilma and Fred, who were on vacation. So we also looked after this cutie...
And this naughty pubescent bunny-boy
We also had the car at our disposal. Because we couldn't leave Aafje unattended for too long we chose for a few short trips. We went for a walk @ de Rottemeren
We went for a walk @ 't Hoge Bergsche Bos. There is a hill there that provides a great view in all directions. There was a very strong wind!
We had dinner @ a pancake restaurant nearby and met a former classmate of ours.
We planned to go to Noordwijk but when on our way, we found out that the road was closed. So we decided to go to de Wassenaarse Slag; a very pretty dune area and a beach. We drank something at a hotel and took a walk. The weather was super for this time of year!
To any visitors from the UK: we're big fans of Coast! A while ago Mike was so kind to send us the open university booklet Neil was promoting during the last series. That gave me the idea to do a little Neil-impersonating photoshoot ;-)
On sunday we picked up Wilma and Fred from the airport. They said it was cold ;-) Later that afternoon we went home.
