Hi, my name is Thinkie, welcome to my blog!
I'm a student in cultural studies, a museum enthusiast, a scrapbooker and an art journaler. I love to travel within Europe and I enjoy photography. You can read more about me on my homepage.
And in Dutch I enjoy:
I live, I love, I create, I capture, I learn, I enjoy.
Stockholm 21-1On Januari 21 we had breakfast @ McDonalds across the street from the central trainstation. We had fun making up stories about the people walking by outside. After breakfast we took a bus to the Kaknastornet, a television tower just outside Stockholm. Fortunately it had an elevator ;-) We enjoyed the view from the panorama terrace outside and from inside the tower.
We took the bus to Djurgarden and walked around a bit before entering the Vasamuseum, which displays the 17th century ship Vasa and houses exhibitions about the ship and it backgrounds and life in Stockholm and at sea during the time it was built. We spend many hours here before walking the short distance to the Nordiska museet. We didn't have a lot of time there before closing time but we got to see Swedish furniture, folk art, a exhibition on the Sami and Maarten saw an exhibition on table settings (I was more thorough on the Sami, a nice prep for our trip to the north of sweden next summer). Back in Södermalm we had dinner in the cabin.
