Dutch Day Out part 2After the flower auction on September 12 we drove to Dordrecht to visit the Biesbosch information Center. we saw the exposition, walked outside in the rain for a while and tried to warm up with some hot chocolate in the restaurant. Our next stop was Kinderdijk, where the famous windmills are. When we travel, we often end up at world heritage sites, but we had never visited this one before that's less than an hour from where we live. About time! We paid a visit to the visitors mill before we headed home.
Biesboschcentrum
Beaver forest, unfortunately no beavers live here at the moment
Cupcake made a friend
Kinderdijk
With these cages they had made it possible to look at the highest part of the mill and still stick to safety regulations
Cupcake was a little dissapointed that these model windmills were behind glass so he couldn't play in them
On our way home we had to wait for a few minutes for cows crossing the road.
