250-challenge 53

@ SIS I participated in Wilna Furstenbergs class 'Cupcakes & Coffee'. Couldn't resist the name of the class ;-) This was one of my favorite projects; make a puffy heart and use it on a LO. I spent an evening with Wilma making puffy hearts. Her sewingmachine wasn't all that happy about stitching trough cardstock so I made this one stitching by hand. The fabric I used was actually a leftover bit of the same fabric Wilma used for my wedding dress! In class Wilna (now don't get WilNa the teacher confused with WilMa my mom ;-) ) had used a fabric with a letterprint for her background. I decided to stamp letters on the background. I might add some journaling to it later, not sure about that. It's a page for our wedding album.

Bij SIS deed ik mee met de 'Cupcakes & coffee' class van Wilna Furstenberg. Ik kon de naam van de class niet weerstaan ;-) Dit was een van m'n favoriete projecten; een soort hart-kussentje maken en het op een LO gebruiken. Ik bracht een avond door met Wilma om de hartjes te maken. Haar naaimachine werd niet echt blij van het naaien door karton dus uiteindelijk heb ik dit hart met de hand genaaid. De stof die ik gebruikte was een restje van de stof die Wilma gebruikt heeft voor m'n trouwjurk. Bij het voorbeeld had Wilna (nu niet lerares WilNa verwarren met m'n moeder WilMa ;-) ) als achtergrond stof bedrukt met letters gebruikt. Ik besloot letters op wit cardstock te stempelen. Misschien dat ik later nog wat journaling toevoeg. Het is een pagina voor ons huwelijksalbum.
