London day 4

On our 4th day in London we visited Regent's Park. We made our way through the park, along the Zoo to Primrose Hill, where we took a bus to Camden Town. There we walked around and had a drink in a lunchroom. After that we went back to the surroundings of St. Pancras, where we visited the British Library. So fascinating, all those old books! I'll definitely go back there some day! We made a short stop for a last round of book shopping; Sunday evening I had seen a book about fashion history in a bookstore's store window, so I needed to go back and get it for Wilma. I got some books for other people as well. We picked up our luggage at the hotel (mine consisting for at least 50% of books by now ;-) ) and took the train from Sint Pancras to Brussels, and traveled home from there.

Op onze vierde dag in Londen bezochten we Regent's Park. We liepen door het park langs de Zoo naar Primrose Hill, waar we de bus namen naar Camden Town. Daar liepen we wat rond en dronken we wat bij een lunchroom. Toen terug naar de omgeving van St. Pancras, waar we de British Library bezochten. Zo fascinerend, al die oude boeken! Ik ga zeker ooit nog een keer terug! We maakten een korte stop voor een laatste ronde boekwinkelen; zondagavond had ik in de etalage van een boekwinkel een boek over kledinggeschiedenis gezien, dus dat moest ik natuurlijk voor Wilma halen. Ik vond er ook nog wat cadeautjes voor deze en gene. We haalden onze bagage op bij het hotel (mijn bagage bestond inmiddels voor minstens 50% uit boeken ;-) ) en namen vanaf St. Pancras de trein naar Brussel, vanwaar we naar huis reisden.
