Nogmaals Maeslantkering / Maeslantkering AgainEen week nadat we de Maeslantkering bezocht hadden was er een grote storm waarvoor hij op 8-11 dichtging. 9-11 zou hij een groot deel van de dag nog dichtblijven en we hadden nog steeds de auto dus besloten we een kijkje te gaan nemen. we keken eerst van een afstandje en reden toen naar het Keringhuis. Het was er een stuk drukker dan de week ervoor, zowel met kijkers als met media. Nadat we een tijdje hadden rondgekeken besloten we naar Hoek van Holland te rijden, waar we gezandstraald werden op het strand. Daarna hadden we wel een warme chocola verdiend!A week after we had visited the Maeslantkering there was a heavy storm for which it closed on 8-11. On 9-11 it would stay closed for most of the day and we still had the car so we decided to take a look. we first viewed it from a distance and then drove to het Keringhuis. It was a lot more crowded than the week before, both with visitors as media. After we'd looked around for a while we decided to drive to Hoek van Holland, where we were sandblasted on the beach. After that we deserved some hot chocolate!
