Hi, my name is Thinkie, welcome to my blog!
I'm a student in cultural studies, a museum enthusiast, a scrapbooker and an art journaler. I love to travel within Europe and I enjoy photography. You can read more about me on my homepage.
And in Dutch I enjoy:
I live, I love, I create, I capture, I learn, I enjoy.
60 years of marriageOn September 3, 2011 my grandparents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at my uncle's house. There were a lot of family members and a few other people, but I'm not sure everyone would like their face to be published on my blog so I'm being selective about what photo's to show you.
I made the invitations. I had to make quite a lot of them, so I kept them simple: white card, bit of sprayed ink, a strip of deco tape, a punched circle, a punched scallop circle with '60' stamped in it and a little 'bling' touch.
Still happy grandparents.
A cake, made by my cousin Romany.
Nice weather, so we could sit in the garden.
Time moves so quickly...
And before you know it, you're standing there with a pretty much grown-up kid...
Yeah, I KNOW dude, what just happened there?! ;-)
And now go back to that first photo of Maarten and me and look closely between my hair and his neck... ;-)
Photo's taken by Frank, my cousin Romany and me.
