Royal The Hague

On July 8 2011 I joined fellow students E., K. and L. for a visit to the Haags Historisch Museum. There was an exhibition on the Oranje-family in The Hague: '"Kijk, daar gaat de koning! De Oranjes in Den Haag' and an exhibition on the Russian orthodox chapel of Anna Paulowna, daughter of Russian Tsar Paul I, wife of 19th century Dutch king William II: 'Een verborgen Russische schat in Den Haag. De Russisch-orthodoxe kapel van koningin Anna Paulowna'. I have misplaced the notes I took that day, alas.
Afterwards we went outside for a walk and had drinks together.

Paleis Kneuterdijk (Kneuterdijk Palace), where Anna Paulowna had her chapel on the top floor. You can see its rounded attic sticking out in the middle.
