Ode to my MuseumcardDear Museumcard,I love you. When we first got together in the early 1990's, I fell head over heels in love with you. I think the feeling was mutual, since you never seemed to feel the need to spend time with anyone else and always carried my photo with you. In the late 1990's, we had to split up. It wasn't that I didn't want you anymore, please know that. I loved you to bits. But there just wasn't any space for you in my life at the time, there was nothing I could do about it. I missed spending time with you but I just wasn't able to, however much I wanted to. Several years ago, Wilma reintroduced us for a short while. It was good to see you again. And a few years ago, we got back together properly. Each year we renew our vows. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world, thanks to you. I hope we'll spent the rest of our lives together. You make me so happy! You are always there for me when I need you, you are always willing to visit museums with me (which, as you know, are my favorite places). You never ask for anything. You take me places that go beyond my wildest imagination. You are perfect, just the way you are! I'm so proud to call you mine! Thank you for everything!
