Swimming on Gran Canaria

As I was planning on swimming, I had brought a water resistant disposable camera to Gran Canaria. We used it in the sea and I brought it when I went swimming with L. in the pool of their hotel. It was so much fun to be swimming for the first time since about 2004! I hadn't gone swimming in the sea/ocean since 1996 so the waves were an extra treat (and challenge). I couldn't swim properly the way I used to, but I had fun splashing around, diving, floating...
Maarten brought his old glasses along the first time and a wave trew them off. We didn't think it would be any use searching for them even though we tried, but then a man came and managed to just pluck them from the seabed!

Cupcake came along to the beach one day, but preferred sunbaking over swimming.
