Ahhh, sun! ;-)
Hearing: the ventilator of our PC, it's a noisy little thing!
Dreaming: of warmth that lasts longer than the size of our hot waterboiler allows, and non-slippery pavements
Reading: The pleasures and sorrows of work by Alain the Botton
Needing: to spend more time with my textbooks
Getting: back on track with my daily journalling
Feeling: tired (what's new?), but it's mostly from doing fun things so it's okay!
Visiting: LOTS of museums. 8 in the past week (not counting Meermanno and the Portuguese Synagoge in Amsterdam)
Cooking: chicken-mango-curry tonight
Drinking: fruity milkshakes thanks to my new blender. And more hot chocolate than I should, but hey, it's cold! (you know, addicts and finding excuses...)
Enjoying: reading Museum Magazine, to which the in-laws gave me a subscription for my birthday.
Looking forward to: all the lectures and daytrips and studydays and museum visits and social gatherings/appointments I have planned for the upcoming months.
Eating: bio sunflower seed spread. I'm hooked on it. Unfortunately the healthfood store near work doesn't sell the chives-variety, I'm a real sucker for chives!
Thinking: about what I was doing a year ago
Struggling with: finding a balance between all my activities and responsibilities and between them and resting enough
Wearing: jeans and a hoody, it's too cold for skirts+leggings!
Needing: to eat more fruit, so Maarten keeps reminding me (and rightfully so)
Smiling: when thinking about the times I spent laughing with others over the past few days
