Twilight Tour of Gouda

This time of year the event 'Gouda bij Kunstlicht' (Gouda by artificial light) takes place. It's an annual event, Maarten and I have checked it out in 2010.
Today I joined a twilight tour of Gouda, lead by Heleen Janssens of Icarus op Tournee, Kunsthistorisch Bureau Gouda. Heleen is an art historian. She told us about architecture, the 'Goudse Glazen' (the famous stained glass windows of the St. Janschurch), about how a pieta (bewening) is also called 'nood gods' in Dutch, about the restauration of town hall, critical stroopwafels, locks, local history and many other things. She also took us inside buildings to check out art projects that were part of the kunstlicht-event.
