Her Fearful Symmetry - Audrey Niffenegger

This book had been on my Amazon wishlist for a while. When the trip to France was approaching, I had a nice stack of books to read, but all hardcover and mostly non-fiction. Not very suitable for travelling. So while I was ordering some stuff for Maarten and Martijn (birthdays, upcoming holidays, and a vacation book for Maarten) I ordered Auder Niffenegger's 'Her fearful symmetry'. The description didn't sound like it was up my alley but her 'The time travelers wife' was an instant favorite after it saved me from having nothing left to read during a rainy trip to Germany in 2007. This one might not have made it onto my list of all time favorites but I did enjoy reading it a lot! A great vacation read but it would have been extra suitable to read it during a trip to London. It contains ghosts but different ones than you might expect, although that might have had something to do with my limited experience in reading ghost stories.
